First Marine Solutions announces collaboration with EODEX

13 October 2021

Today at Ocean Business in Southampton, First Marine Solutions (FMS) has announced a new collaborative partnership with EODEX.

FMS, part of the 1st Tech Group, will operate on “preferred supplier” basis with EODEX on future marine projects. EODEX specialises in the green disposal of unexploded ordnance.
Offshore moorings firm, FMS will bring a market leading survey and positioning capability to compliment EODEX’s delivery of UXO target investigation and disposal services to the defence, oil & gas and offshore renewables industries.

With each company being located in the Bridge of Don area of Aberdeen, the synergies are clear.

Carl Lafferty, Survey and Positioning Manager of First Marine Solutions said:

“With a mutual passion to preserve the marine environment, FMS is delighted to engage in this collaboration with EODEX and complement their service with our carbon conscious approach to UXO surveys.”

Andrew Woollven, Managing Director of EODEX added:

“We see the bringing together of these two capabilities as a natural progression in the delivery of a truly co-ordinated service for the benefit of our mutual clients.”
FMS is exhibiting this week at Ocean Business 21 in Southampton on Stand V47. On the stand is Carl Lafferty, Survey and Positioning Manager, Marc Petty, Marine Manager and Sam Moore, Operations Surveyor.
